213. Yellow light

Yellow Light is a semi-transparent oil colour with a bright, warm yellow hue. Compared with Lemon, it has a richer, sunnier character, making it ideal for creating naturally warm colour relationships. Its semi-transparent nature lends itself to delicate glazing, smooth tonal transitions and the gradual development of colour intensity. It mixes particularly well with reds, oranges, greens and earth colours, making it useful for depicting sunlit foliage, ripe fruit, warm highlights and a wide range of natural subjects. Its smooth, even consistency offers excellent control with both brush and palette knife, ensuring comfortable handling throughout the painting process.
