221. Yellow deep

Yellow Deep is a semi-transparent oil colour with a rich, warm yellow hue leaning towards golden orange. Compared with Yellow Medium, it has greater depth and warmth, making it particularly effective for depicting bright sunlight, autumn foliage, ripe grain and other richly coloured natural subjects. Its semi-transparent character is ideal for glazing, gentle colour transitions and gradually increasing colour intensity. It mixes cleanly with reds, browns, greens and whites to produce harmonious golden, honey and warm ochre mixtures. Its smooth, consistent texture provides excellent control with both brush and palette knife, making it easy to handle throughout the painting process. The balanced drying time throughout the range makes learning more productive, allowing artists to assess their work sooner, refine their decisions and build practical experience through regular painting.
