275. Primary yellow

Primary Yellow (P.Y.151) is an oil paint with a bright, clean yellow hue of medium warmth. It is transparent and offers a high colour intensity, producing clean, luminous, and vibrant colour mixtures. As one of the three primary colours, it has been specifically developed for studying colour theory and the principles of colour mixing. Used alongside Primary Red and Primary Blue, it enables artists to create a wide range of secondary and tertiary colours while clearly demonstrating the relationships between primary hues.
